How can we lick this one?

How is it that such a perfect boy.........

...has such an annoying imperfection?

This cowlick causes us grief every single morning! The hair is carefully combed and then out comes the ammunition. The spray bottle, the hairspray, and then the big guns- the "got to be glued' gel. All of it is applied, over and over again, to get this little sprig of hair to lay in place. Sometimes we think we have it and then minutes before school a panicked boy runs in with the glue in hand for an extra application because it has sprung up again. He will then ask, 'Can you see the gel?' Nope, you usually can't. And of course there is the added benefit of not needing to wear a helmet for anything because his hair is hard as a rock!
